I walked out the front door
looked up at the sky
and saw a sunset like no other
amazingly, no one was around
no one at home
neighbors not at home
no one walking by
no one to share with
my camera phone does not do it justice
better then nothing I guess
I thought later about
how many sunsets
and sunrises I have missed
never to be seen again
why living near the ocean
feels very right some day
a reflective cup of coffee

Very nice! I'm jealous that you live so close to the ocean. One day, those gorgeous sunsets will be in my backyard,
Travel
we are not that close to the Atlantic, maybe twenty miles but, I can get up early go down to the beach, watch the sunrise, hang around much of the day, pack up and drive about 4 172 hours to the west, the Gulf coast and watch the sunset!
A plus of living in Florida. I live in Wellington, Fla. You can see for your self

Hi Ray,
And you live in a place where the sea and the sky embrace.
And each sunset realises a new opportunity for the next sunrise.
Thank you for this posting, Ray.

I am glad you liked it. I was speechless when I saw it.
In your honor, I will repost a poem I wrote touching on that tomorrow.

Beautiful pictures, RJ, and lyrical words to go with them. :)
