Here we go again. It has been a slow summer hasn't it? Congress is away on their many vacations, (not that they do anything anyway) and things are starting to slow down in the war world.
What to do, what to do.
The boys in the war room decided it is time to attack another country. Let's not bring in the United Nations to see what they think. My goodness, the British are saying no this time too. There goes our hope for a coalition.
A few more wars and all those nasty cutbacks for the defense department will go away! You are either for us or against us, right boys?
No weapons of mass destruction available? How about talk of chemical weapons? Where have we heard that before? Proof? we will get back to you on that.
Since the days of Joesph Pulitzer and William Hearst who helped provoke the Spanish-American war to sell newspapers we have gone out of our way to go to war.
By the way, after that war we ended up with Puerto Rico, Guam and the Philippines.
