The commercials try to get you so excited. Cash back!!!! Come on people, a penny or two or three?
Soon you will be rolling in dough. Huh? Limitations apply, see store for details.
People are easily mislead when it comes to credit cards. Deferred payments come with a huge prices. Store promotions can seduce you into buying more then you can afford.
Ever take a look at the terms? Sometimes you might pay 25% interest! You get a penny, they get a quarter!!
And they know that you will fall behind and pay a hefty interest fee when it is all over.
And you might say "not me". Big deal, the next hundred people will pay for you.
Now credit can be very convenient. Pay at the pump for gas for example, large purchase made, don't have to carry a lot of cash. In fact people get suspicious if you pay with cash sometimes.
Please don't succumb to the credit man. Think first. They are not here to help, they are here to make money!
Now, will that cash, check or charge?
Who is going to buy my coffee?

Budgeting should be taught at school. Credit cards can and do get out of control. I think people who are seriously in debt don't think very clearly and just dig the whole deeper in desperation.
I meant "hole" not "whole". It's late.
Linda
at least you understand the "whole" picture!
I get a kick out of how you always end your posts with coffee or a beer. ;)
Those credit card companies are EVIL!!!

I am one thirsty guy! It all depends on the time of day or night or am I off that day. Speaking of which...
